While living in Hong Kong, I traveled to Vancouver to learn to be a better coach in fall of 2018. I began coaching Kinstretch group training in January 2019.
What is Kinstretch?
A movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion. Kinstretch builds up your body to DO ANYTHING. Kinstretch is not taking place of other forms of exercise like playing sports, yoga or weight lifting. It is supplementing those activities, preparing your body to do those activities.
Why is it unique?
The classes are complete with a unique self-assessment system allowing you the ability to monitor your own body. Do your joints have a dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury? The self assessment system helps answer that.
The techniques are born out of scientific research and have been selected based on years of science. Rather than creating a system and conducting research, physical conditioning and medical experts have sorted through the research and created the techniques. Because of this, it helps with body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity.
Who is it for?
Kinstretch is for everyone. It takes in to account your individual bodies and joint capacities. It may have been adopted by professional sports teams but it is designed for all humans.r
